The AHE Philadelphia Health Equity Dashboard explores four core topic areas that impact the overall health and well-being of Philadelphians: Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention, Maternal, Infant, and Child Health, Access to Care, and Social Determinants of Health. Each topic area integrates quantitative and qualitative data from the Regional Community Health Needs Assessment for Southeastern Pennsylvania, Philadelphia County Health Rankings, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation City Health Dashboard, and other recent scientific reviews. References can be found below and on individual dashboard pages.
Across health outcome measures, Philadelphians are less healthy compared to the average Pennsylvania county and the average county in the United States. Health outcome measures include rates of premature death, life expectancy, rates of poor or fair health, rates of poor physical health days, rates of poor mental health days, and percentage of low birthweight births. Additional health outcomes are available from the Philadelphia County Health Outcomes – 2025.
